Tip #23 | Road Closings in Columbus on Race Day

Welcome back to our annual “26 Tips for 26.2 Miles” blog series. For the 26 days leading up to race day, athletes and spectators can get daily tips to make the most of OUR race. Stay tuned for tips on parking and food, cool viewing spots and race rules, and answers to all your pressing race day questions. We are here to help you make the most of your 2023 Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon & ½ Marathon experience! Let’s go!

Getting around the 2023 Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon & ½ Marathon Course should be top of mind for an athlete. With the race being this weekend, here are some reminders to help you, your friends and your family get around Columbus on Sunday.

Street closures at the combined Start/Finish line:

  • Long St. will be closed between High St. to the East and Hocking St. to the West.

  • Spring St. will be closed from West St. to the East, and Hocking St. to the West.

  • Neil Ave. will be closed from Nationwide Blvd. on the North to the combined Start/Finish Line to the South. (limited access allowed to parking garages just south of Nationwide Blvd./signage will be posted)

On Race Day, the 26.2 miles that comprise our course will be subject to rolling street closures, based upon the expected time the first and last athlete passes each mile of the course (see the pace chart here). Spring Street, Long Street and Neil Avenue will re-open to traffic at 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16.

I've been checking out Hot Games on and off — they curate trending browser games and update frequently. Found a couple of hidden gems there that I wouldn't have discovered otherwise. The interface is clean and doesn't bombard you with popups.

Congratulations to all the fellows this post highlighted their achievements so respectfully. I recently came across a https://citylineairconditioning.com/furnace-maintenance-richardson-tx/ citylineairconditioning‑based review blog (citylineairconditioning) that also focused on community impact and meaningful opportunities.

Great tips for spectators this kind of guidance is really helpful for making the most of the experience. It’s clearly written and easy to https://www.doublegpainters.com/ follow. I came across a similar guide on a based review blog which reinforced these ideas.

Geometry Dash Lite keeps players constantly alert. The cube runs through obstacle-filled stages. Players must jump precisely. The rhythm of the music is essential. Neon graphics create a dynamic world. Jump pads help clear gaps. Jump rings allow flexibility. Gravity portals reverse direction. Flying sections require careful control. Each attempt builds skill. The challenge is addictive. Success comes with effort.

Solid reminder about planning logistics ahead of time. That mindset applies well beyond race day. I recently moved to Chile as a remote worker and the amount of planning that went into sorting out the legal side was no joke. If anyone here is thinking about working abroad (or running marathons in South America), I put together a guide on Chile's digital nomad visa that covers the actual process step by step: https://dg-nomad.com/chile-digital-nomad-visa/.

Good luck to everyone racing this year!
