The Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon & 1/2 Marathon is the Most Meaningful Marathon in the Country! Each mile is dedicated to a Patient Champion, including 24 individuals who have shared their story to inspire you, 1 Angel Mile to honor the children who have already run their race, and 1 Encore Mile featuring all the patients who have lined the course since 2012.


26.2 miles, each with a different story, a new inspiration, and another reason to keep running. These miraculous kids will be on each mile of the marathon on October 21st, supporting you every step of the way. Nationwide Children’s Hospital is honored to be the title beneficiary for the Columbus Marathon & 1/2 Marathon. 2020 marks the ninth year

of this partnership; so far more than $10 million has been raised for the Hospital.  This includes more than $1 million contributed since 2012 by the Columbus Marathon Board of Directors.
