Runners
The Nationwide Better Health Columbus Marathon starts near the intersection of Broad and Third Streets in downtown Columbus at 7:30 a.m. for walkers and runners. The course will be open until 3:00 p.m. Awards will be given to winners from different age groups (top three overall in the marathon and ½ marathon and top three in each age group). Following are winners of the 2009 Nationwide Better Health Columbus Marathon:

Boston Qualifiers
The road to the Boston runs through Columbus.
Nearly 20 percent of the 2009 field qualified for the Boston Marathon – making the Nationwide Better Health Columbus Marathon one of the top marathons in the United States (per capita) to send qualifiers to Boston.
Wheelchair Racers
The Nationwide Better Health Columbus Marathon is one of the nation's top chair racing marathons, constantly drawing exciting races. Following are champions of the 2009 event.
