½ Marathon
The 2010 Nationwide Better Health Columbus ½ Marathon will be held on Sunday, Oct. 17. The event will start in tandem with the full marathon near the corner of Broad and Third streets and the 1/2 marathon athletes will run or walk with the full marathoners until they turn left onto Nationwide Blvd. to the finish at 13.1 miles. ½ Marathon runners will start with the rest of the field at 7:30 a.m. Following are 2009 Nationwide Better Health Columbus 1/2 Marathon winners:
- Daniel Kipkoech, Kennesaw, GA 1:03:38 (course record)
- Nicole Fisher, Beech Grove, IN 1:17:14
