Two Important Reasons to Register Now!

There are several great reasons to register for the 30th edition of the Nationwide Better Health Columbus Marathon, but following are two time-sensitive ones:

  1. We are close to selling out! The race is less than three weeks away, and we are in the home stretch of planning a great event, so what are YOU waiting for?
  2. Register TODAY and save! If you register before Oct. 1, you will save $10 on the events. If you wait, you will have to pay $95 for the full marathon, $80 for the ½ marathon and $45 for the 5K.

Additionally, for those of you who have already registered and have questions about race transfer, race information changes or general registration, please send an email today (prior to Oct. 1) to registration@columbusmarathon.com. Due to the size of the field, we are requesting that you contact us by email only regarding these issues. Thanks for your cooperation!

Nominations Still Sought For Spirit Awards!

To us, everyone who competes in the Marathon or ½ Marathon is a winner, but some participants deserve special recognition. Do you know of someone in this year’s races who has overcome adversity or challenges? Nominate them for the annual Spirit Award! Nominations are due Oct. 2, and winners will be announced in early October. We honor these very special competitors each year – but need your help to make it a success!

Blog Post #12: Race Vocabulary Words

Intrepid ½ marathon runner and blogger Eric Motter recently posted a blog about Race Day vocabulary words. Check out his take on everything from Lemon Sublime Gu to Negative Splits. What vocab words do you associate with Race Day? We want to know!

Enjoy a 5K on Marathon Day!
